Save the date for our 1st Annual “Great Bowls of Fire” Chili Cook Off benefiting CREECS!
PARTICIPANTS
* The entry fee will be $25 per team. 1/2 of all entry fees will be returned as prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.
* Teams can have as many members as you'd like but no professional cooks! All teams will be required to have a team name - the more creative the better!
* Each team will get a 10x10 area to set up. You will need to provide your own heat source for your chili as well as a ladle to hand out samples. We will provide small compostable souffle cups and spoons. Please bring your own table and tent and feel free to decorate your area!
* Each team will be required to make at least 3 gallons of chili and be ready to begin handing out samples at 3:00. One quart will be collected from each team shortly in advance of the judging which will begin at 4:00. No garnish will be added to the judges' samples.
* Teams must disclose the meat used (if you're using meat) and provide a warning if your entry is spicy!
